Very sorry to see this restaurant close. So many great meals there over the years since they opened first as Spencer Vreek Landing in Alden and the moved as LuLu’s to Bellaire. Another slight I’m glad Charlotte didn’t have to live through, on top of the end of the Daily Show with Jon. Feels like another contact with her was lost though.

We had extremely hot weather overall…one night with a full house and the temp never falling below 80! Ken and Mary Ellen drove here from Strasburg PA for a short visit and Dan and the boys, dogs, girlfriend (Ashley) came over. Abbey, the youngest of the Striebel dogs is quite the swimmer, inspiring Dan to use fins? Thought he was born with them. Our last day is quite blustery and cool…made it into Shorts and the Loon preserve over in the North Arm. Haven’t had much need for Shorts or Moka since we have this wonderful hi-speed at the house!
